The surgeon’s job has traditionally been done by men, but today more and more women are becoming successful surgeons. A surgeon’s main responsibility is to perform operations to treat injuries, diseases, or health problems. They must carefully examine patients, make accurate decisions, and work closely with a medical team before, during, and after surgery to ensure the best results. To do this job well, surgeons need strong medical knowledge, steady hands, patience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. They also need dedication because the work is often long and tiring. Both men and women can do this job equally well since they have the same ability to learn, think logically, and handle stress. Having both male and female surgeons benefits society because patients have more choices and the healthcare system becomes more balanced and effective.
