My favorite community helper is a police officer. They usually wear dark blue uniforms with shiny badges and matching hats, which make them easy to recognize. They look smart, strong, and confident. Most police officers are brave, responsible, and friendly because they work with many different people and situations. They help the community by keeping order, catching criminals, directing traffic, and helping people in emergencies. They also teach children and adults how to follow the law and stay safe. I admire police officers very much because they work hard day and night to protect us. I feel proud and thankful for their service.
