Problem 4: Many parents drive their children to school and pick them up from school every day. This causes traffic jams, noise, and air pollution at the school gate. This is a common problem at many schools today. Every morning and afternoon, dozens or even hundreds of cars and motorbikes line up in front of the gate. This not only causes heavy traffic jams, but also creates loud noise and serious air pollution from the vehicle exhaust fumes. As a result, students, teachers, and people living nearby have to breathe polluted air daily. Moreover, it wastes a lot of time for everyone and increases the risk of accidents. To solve this problem, we need cooperation from both parents and schools. First, schools can encourage parents to let their children walk, cycle, or take the school bus if possible. The school can also set different pick-up times for different grades to reduce crowds. Second, parents should only use private cars or motorbikes when it is truly necessary. They can park farther away from the gate and let their children walk a short distance. By doing this, we can reduce traffic jams, protect the environment, and build safer school surroundings.
