Walt Disney is famous around the world for creating Mickey Mouse - one of the famous cartoon characters in the world and building Disneyland, the first-ever theme park of its kind.
Childhood and Education
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 5, 1901.
He attended McKinley High School in Chicago, where he developed a love for drawing and art. Later, he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Achievements
He was a very successful film-maker, who created many beloved characters, including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy.
After the successful of Mickey Mouse, he started with Snow White and seven dwarfs which received Oscar Honorary Academy Award. This event plays a significant role in cinema history in the world for the first long cartoon film.
Apart from making films, he was also famous for opening Disneyland in California in 1955, which became a world-famous tourist destination.

He had four brothers and one sister, and two daughters named Diane and Sharon

He died in Los Angeles, California, on December 15, 1966, at the age of 65.
