In today’s world, teenagers spend a large part of their day on phones, computers, and tablets. I strongly believe that teenagers should limit their screen time for two main reasons.
First, excessive screen time can take away from important activities. When teenagers spend too much time on devices, they may neglect their studies, hobbies, and social interactions. By reducing screen time, they can focus more on schoolwork, sports, and spending quality time with family and friends. These activities help them develop important skills and build stronger relationships.
Second, too much screen time is not healthy for the body and mind. Long hours in front of screens can strain the eyes, cause headaches, and disturb sleep patterns. It may also increase stress and reduce physical activity, which are essential for staying healthy. Limiting screen time encourages teenagers to be more active, sleep better, and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
In conclusion, while technology is useful, teenagers should control the time they spend on screens. Doing so helps them stay productive, healthy, and socially connected.
