One of the most frequent natural disasters in Vietnam is the typhoon. Every year, between June and November, several powerful storms strike the coastal regions, especially in Central Vietnam. These typhoons bring heavy rain and violent winds, which often lead to severe flooding and landslides. This causes significant damage to houses, crops, and infrastructure, deeply affecting the lives of local people. To minimize the impact, the government and citizens work together to prepare by reinforcing buildings, evacuating high-risk areas, and following weather updates closely to stay safe during the storm season.
