In recent years, many young Vietnamese people have eagerly celebrated foreign festivals like Christmas and Halloween. While some believe this is a sign of cultural openness, others worry that such trends may weaken traditional Vietnamese values. In my opinion, celebrating these festivals is not harmful if done in a balanced way.

Firstly, taking part in global celebrations helps young people become more open-minded and better connected to the world. Events like Christmas and Halloween are opportunities for fun, creativity, and friendship. They also promote cultural exchange, allowing Vietnamese youth to learn about other traditions and share their own culture in return.

However, it is important that young people do not forget their national identity. Festivals such as Tet and the Mid-Autumn Festival are deeply meaningful to Vietnamese culture and should always be preserved.

In conclusion, celebrating foreign festivals is acceptable and even beneficial if it goes hand in hand with maintaining respect and love for our traditional customs. Cultural diversity can enrich our lives, but cultural roots must always remain strong.🤝

Walt Disney became a very successful film-maker. He created Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many other famous cartoon characters that are still loved today.
