In recent years , many young Vietnamese people have started celebrating foreign festivals like Christmas and Halloween. Some people welcome this trend, while others worry that it might weaken traditional culture. In my opinion, celebrating these festivals can be positive if it is done with balance.

Firstly, joining global celebrations helps young people become more open-minded and connected to the world. Events like Halloween or Christmas allow them to learn about other cultures, share joy with friends , and express creativily through activities such as decorating or wearing costumns. These experiences can make life more exciting and build cultural understanding.

However, it is also important not to forget our own Vietnamese traditions, such as tet or Mid-autumn Festival. Young people should enioy foreign festivals while still respecting and promoting local customs. Schools and families can play a role in reminding them of the beauty and meaning of Vietnamese culture.

In conclusion, celebrating foreign festivals is not harmful if we maintain pride in our own traditions. Balance and cultural respect are the keys.
