At our school, many students use single-use plastic items such as bottles, cups, and straws every day. After using them once, we throw them into the rubbish bins. This creates a lot of plastic waste. Plastic takes hundreds of years to break down, and it can harm the soil, rivers, and animals. If we keep using too much plastic, our environment will become dirty and unhealthy. To solve this problem, we should try to use less plastic. Students can bring reusable water bottles, lunch boxes, and cloth bags instead of using plastic ones. The school can also put recycling bins in classrooms and remind everyone to separate plastic waste from other rubbish. Teachers can organize activities or talks to help students understand why reducing plastic is important. If everyone makes a small effort, our school will have less plastic waste and a cleaner environment. Together, we can make our planet greener and protect nature for the future.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to ask for some information about the language courses at your language centre. I am now in grade 11, and I want to learn another foreign language, which I hope to use after leaving school.
First, could you please let me know whether there are German courses at your language centre? I would also like to know how long the course for beginners lasts and how often classes take place. This information would help me organize my schoolwork and see how much time I have left for your course.
Next, I would be grateful if you could tell me the course fees. Do you also offer any discount on fees?
Finally, would you mind telling me if there are native German-speaking teachers at your language centre? I would prefer native teachers as they speak naturally and tell interesting stories about the place they come from.
It would be great if you could send your school brochure to my address. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Nguyen Ha Linh
