At our school, many students forget to turn off the lights or taps after using the restroom. As a result, a large amount of electricity and water is wasted every day. This not only increases the school’s utility bills but also harms the environment

The main reasons for this problem are forgetfulness and lack of awareness. Some students think that leaving the lights on or water running for a short time does not matter. In addition, there are no reminders or automatic systems to help save resources.

First, the school should put up clear signs near light switches and sinks to remind students to turn them off. Second, it would be useful to install motion-sensor lights and automatic taps that stop running when not in use. Finally, teachers can include short lessons about saving energy and water in environmental education activities.

By combining education with practical solutions, our school can reduce waste, protect the environment, and set a good example for others.
