Topic 1: Five−colour sticky rice is a traditional Vietnamese dish. It is made from glutinous rice and natural colourings such as turmeric, magenta leaves, and pandan leaves. The dish is usually served on special occasions like Tet or festivals. I like it because it is colourful, delicious, and has a special meaning in Vietnamese culture.

Topic 2: One of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had was my first camping trip with friends. We went to a beautiful national park last summer. The fresh air, lush greenery, and calming sound of the river made the place unforgettable. We pitched our tents near a lake and spent the day hiking, fishing, and playing games. In the evening, we gathered around a campfire, singing songs and roasting marshmallows. The laughter and bonding made me realize the importance of spending quality time with loved ones. It was a perfect escape from the hustle of daily life, and I felt so refreshed afterward. This trip remains a treasured memory that I’ll always cherish.
Topic 3: Over the past five years, my life has changed significantly as I transitioned from elementary school to middle school. In elementary school, I had a lot of free time to play with friends, play video games, and watch TV. Homework was light, and weekends were fun. Now, in middle school, my schedule is much busier with harder classes, more homework, and extracurricular activities such as the debate club and soccer practice. Although I sometimes miss those carefree days in elementary school, I now feel more accomplished and focused. This change has made me more responsible and better at managing my time, which makes me feel proud and ready for the future.
Topic 1:In my neighborhood, traditions thrive through communal celebrations like Tết, where streets glow with lanterns and families visit pagodas for blessings, alongside ancestral worship featuring incense and offerings at home altars, fostering deep cultural ties. Neighbors actively share age-old recipes and culinary skills, while elders meticulously pass down stories and rituals, ensuring customs like community clean-ups or specific monthly pagoda visits remain vibrant, creating a strong sense of belonging and continuity across generations.
