My family has several special traditions during Tet. On New Year’s Eve, we always gather to have a big dinner and watch the fireworks together. On the first day of the New Year, we visit our grandparents to wish them longevity and good health. Children usually receive lucky money in red envelopes, which makes us very excited. We also visit the pagoda to pray for peace. These customs help our family members become closer and more connected.
