Problem 1: Many single-use plastic products are thrown in rubbish bins. They take many years to decompose in landfills. This problem is becoming more serious in modern life. Many people still use single-use plastic products such as straws, cups, bags, and bottles every day because they are cheap and convenient. However, most of them are thrown away immediately after use. These plastic items take hundreds of years to decompose in landfills. When they are buried under the ground, they release toxic chemicals into the soil and water. This harms plants, animals, and even humans. In addition, burning plastic waste also creates dangerous gases that pollute the air. To solve this problem, both individuals and the community need to take action. First, we should reduce the use of single-use plastic products whenever possible and replace them with reusable items like metal bottles, cloth bags, and glass cups. Second, we need to separate plastic waste and recycle it properly instead of throwing everything into the same bin. Schools and organizations should also run campaigns to raise awareness about the danger of plastic pollution. If we work together, we can protect the environment and create a greener future for the next generations.
