Topic 1:

In my neighbourhood, people still observe many traditional customs. During Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, families clean their houses to welcome the new year and avoid bad luck. They also offer food and flowers to their ancestors. Many families gather to enjoy traditional food like bánh chưng and fruit. On the first day of Tet, children go to their grandparents' houses to receive lucky money. In addition, people celebrate the mid-autumn festival with lanterns and moon cakes. Everyone in the neighbourhood gets involved, making sure to keep the traditions alive for future generations.

Topic 2:

Last summer, I had a pleasant experience when I went on a trip to the beach with my family. The weather was perfect, not too hot or too cold. We spent the day swimming in the ocean and playing volleyball on the sand. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner while watching the sunset. It was a great time to relax and forget about the busy days at work and school. I felt happy to be with my family and enjoy the beauty of nature. It was a simple but very enjoyable day that I will always remember.

Topic 3:

Over the past five years, my lifestyle has changed a lot. I used to spend most of my time watching TV and playing video games. But now, I try to exercise more regularly. I go for a walk every morning, and I also practise yoga to stay healthy. I have also started eating more fruits and vegetables. I used to eat a lot of fast food, but now I prefer cooking at home. These changes have made me feel better and more energetic. I am happy with my new lifestyle, and I plan to keep it up in the future.

1. It's been a few years since I moved to this neighbourhood.

2. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed a nice painting on the wall.

1.This is the first time I have made mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

2.I had a desire to explore the hidden gems of the city that most tourists miss.

3.Bao wishes he had a big house to get a pet.

1. One of the most famous traditional Vietnamese dishes is banh cuon. This dish consists of thin rice flour pancakes filled with a mixture of minced pork, mushrooms, and shallots. The pancakes are steamed and then rolled up before being served with fresh herbs, cucumber, and fried shallots. It's usually enjoyed with nuoc cham, a special dipping sauce made of fish sauce, sugar, garlic, and chili. Banh cuon is a popular breakfast choice and is often eaten at street food stalls in Vietnam. The combination of the soft pancakes and the savory filling makes it a delicious and satisfying dish.

2. I had a great experience when I went hiking with my friends last year. We traveled to a mountain area where the air was fresh, and the view was beautiful. The hike was a bit challenging, but when we reached the top, the view was amazing. We could see the entire valley below us, with green fields and rivers. We took lots of photos, enjoyed a picnic, and even saw some wild animals. It was a day full of adventure and joy, and I will never forget the peace and excitement I felt during the trip.

2. In the past, traveling took much longer and was less convenient. People often traveled by train or bus, which could take many hours or even days to reach a destination. Education was also different; most students studied in classrooms, and textbooks were the main source of information. Communication was slower, as people had to use landline phones or send letters to stay in touch. Today, traveling is much faster with airplanes and high-speed trains. Education is more accessible online, and communication has become instant through smartphones and the internet. Technology has made many aspects of life more efficient and connected.
