Introduction

This report describes the threats facing tigers and suggests some solutions to the problem. As one of the most endangered species on Earth, tigers need urgent protection.

Threats

Research has shown that habitat loss is the greatest threat to tigers. Forests are being cut down for agriculture, roads, and urban development, leaving tigers with smaller areas to live and hunt. As a result, their populations are decreasing rapidly. Another serious threat is illegal poaching. Tigers are hunted for their skin, bones, and other body parts, which are sold on the black market. In addition, human–tiger conflict is increasing when tigers enter villages in search of food.

Solutions

One solution is to strengthen laws and strictly punish poachers. Governments should also create and expand protected areas such as national parks and wildlife reserves. Second, it is important to raise public awareness about tiger conservation through education campaigns and media programs. In addition, we should support organizations like World Wide Fund for Nature that work to protect endangered animals.

Conclusion

In conclusion, there are several serious threats to tigers, including habitat loss and poaching. Therefore, we recommend taking immediate action to protect tigers and preserve biodiversity for future generations.

The pie charts illustrate the main news sources for teenagers, young adults and old people. Overall, teenagers and young adults prefer online news, while old people rely more on traditional media, especially TV and printed newspapers.

For teenagers, online news sites are the most popular source, accounting for 52%. TV is the second most common source at 37%, while printed newspapers make up only 7%. A small proportion, 4%, get news from other sources.

Among young adults, the distribution is more balanced. Online news sites still rank first at 33%, followed closely by TV at 35%. Other sources represent 26%, and printed newspapers are the least popular at 6%.

In contrast, old people mainly watch TV for news, with 42%. Printed newspapers are also significant at 29%, whereas only 6% use online news sites. Others account for 23%.

Opinion Essay

In recent years, many young Vietnamese people have shown great interest in celebrating festivals like Christmas and Halloween. While some people worry that this trend may weaken traditional culture, I believe it brings more benefits than drawbacks.

First of all, joining foreign festivals is an opportunity for young people to learn about global traditions and broaden their cultural knowledge. In an increasingly interconnected world, understanding other cultures helps Vietnamese youth become more open-minded and better prepared for international integration. For example, Christmas encourages values such as family love and sharing, while Halloween offers a chance for creativity and fun.

Secondly, celebrating these events does not mean forgetting Vietnamese culture. On the contrary, young people often enjoy both foreign and local festivals, such as Tet or the Mid-Autumn Festival. Vietnamese traditions are deeply rooted, and new experiences can exist alongside them without causing serious harm.

In conclusion, I think celebrating Christmas and Halloween is a positive cultural exchange. Instead of worrying, we should encourage young people to enjoy these festivals while still cherishing and preserving our national traditions.
