Report: Threats to Tigers and Possible Solutions

Tigers are among the most endangered animals in the world. Over the past decades, their population has decreased dramatically due to several serious threats.

One major threat to tigers is habitat loss. Forests are being cut down for agriculture, roads, and buildings, which destroys the natural homes of tigers. Another serious problem is illegal hunting and poaching. Some people kill tigers to sell their bones, skin, and other body parts on the black market. In addition, human–tiger conflict is increasing as people move closer to tiger habitats. When tigers attack livestock, farmers may kill them to protect their animals.

To protect tigers, several solutions should be implemented. First, governments should strengthen laws against poaching and punish wildlife criminals more strictly. Second, more protected areas and national parks should be created to preserve tiger habitats. Forest conservation programs are also important to maintain a healthy environment for wildlife. Finally, raising public awareness about wildlife protection can encourage people to support conservation efforts.

In conclusion, tigers face many dangers, but with strong protection laws, habitat conservation, and public support, we can help ensure that these magnificent animals survive for future generations.

The Influence of Foreign Festivals on Vietnamese Youth

In recent years, Christmas and Halloween have become increasingly popular among young Vietnamese people. Shops are decorated with Christmas trees, and students wear colorful costumes for Halloween parties. Some worry that this trend will damage traditional culture, but in my opinion it can be a positive development if approached wisely.

Firstly, celebrating international festivals helps young people learn about other cultures. Joining Halloween activities, for example, allows them to practise English and understand Western customs in an enjoyable way. This can make Vietnamese youth more open-minded and better prepared for global integration.

Secondly, these events create opportunities for creativity and community spirit. Organising Christmas charity events or Halloween fairs can bring students together, strengthen friendships and raise funds for good causes.

Of course, we should not forget our own traditions such as Tết or Mid-Autumn Festival. Schools and families should encourage young people to celebrate Vietnamese festivals with equal enthusiasm. By doing so, we can enjoy the best of both worlds and keep our cultural identity strong while still welcoming new experiences.
