Walt Disney is famous around the world for being one of the greatest film producers and the creator of Mickey Mouse. His name has become a symbol of imagination and creativity.
Childhood and education
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1901. As a child, he loved drawing and storytelling. He attended McKinley High School, where he developed his talent in art and photography. Later, he studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and began his career as a cartoonist.
Achievements
He was a very successful film-maker, who created Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many other popular cartoon characters. Apart from making films, he was also famous for building Disneyland and Walt Disney World, which became magical places for millions of people around the world.
Family
He had four brothers and one sister. He married Lillian Bounds and they had two daughters, Diane and Sharon.
Death and the continued success of The Walt Disney Studios
He died in 1966, but his legacy continues. Today, The Walt Disney Studios is one of the largest entertainment companies in the world, bringing joy to people of all ages.
