Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, the United States. During his childhood, he showed a strong interest in drawing and storytelling. He attended McKinley High School, where he drew cartoons for the school newspaper. Later, he studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago and continued to improve his skills in animation.

He was a very successful film-maker who created Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many other famous characters. One of his greatest achievements was producing the first full-length animated movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Apart from making films, he was also famous for creating Disneyland, the first modern theme park.

Walt Disney had three brothers and one sister, and he had two daughters. He died on December 15, 1966, but The Walt Disney Studios continue to grow and succeed today.
