Walt Disney is one of the most famous names in the history of entertainment. He is best known as the creator of Mickey Mouse and as the founder of The Walt Disney Company.

He was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois. He had four brothers and one sister. As a boy, Walt loved to draw and often dreamed of becoming an artist. He attended McKinley High School, where he studied art, and later took evening classes at the Chicago Art Institute.

Disney’s career was full of achievements. In 1928, he created Mickey Mouse, who quickly became a world icon. He also made the first full-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in 1937. Apart from films, he was famous for creating Disneyland, a magical theme park that opened in California in 1955.

He married Lillian Bounds, and they had two daughters. Walt Disney died on December 15, 1966. Even after his death, The Walt Disney Studios continues to grow, bringing joy and inspiration to millions of people worldwide.
