The surgeon’s job is traditionally most common for men. A surgeon’s primary responsibility is performing operations on patients, but they must also make critical decisions regarding health and safety. To succeed, surgeons need extensive medical knowledge along with physical and mental strength to handle long, tiring operations. Additionally, they require excellent eyesight, skillful hands, and strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with their medical teams. Although it was traditionally seen as a male profession, the number of female surgeons is increasing today. Women have proven to be as mentally strong as men and are fully capable of performing long surgical procedures. In summary, both men and women can make great surgeons, and society will certainly benefit from having a diverse balance of both in the medical field.
