Flooding is a natural disaster that often occurs in Vietnam, especially during the rainy season from June to November. It mainly affects the central and southern regions, where heavy rains and storms cause rivers to overflow. Floods can seriously damage houses, roads, and farmlands. Many people lose their property, and some even lose their lives. Students can’t go to school, and transportation is delayed. To reduce the damage, the government builds flood prevention systems and warns people early. Local communities also help by preparing food, clean water, and shelters. Everyone needs to work together to stay safe during flooding season.
