I am writing to apply for a part-time receptionist, which you advertised on your website on 13 December. I believe having a part-time job is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills.

I am in my final year of high school. I have some experience in this job before. Last summer, I worked at a hotel as a receptionist. My duties included welcoming guests, making and confirming guest bookings. I also answered incoming calls and managed reservations to make sure the customers were satisfied with their services.

I am friendly, sociable and hard-working. I can also speak Chinese, so I can wait on foreign customers.

I would be delighted to meet you in person to discuss my application.

I am available for an interview on weekdays.

If my application is successful, I will be able to start work after 15 December.
