Walt Disney was an American animator, filmmaker, and businessman who changed the world of entertainment. He was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago. He loved drawing from a young age and later founded a studio with his brother Roy in 1923. Disney created iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, who first appeared in Steamboat Willie in 1928, one of the earliest animated films with sound. In 1937, he produced Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first full-length animated movie, which became a major success. He continued to create famous films such as Cinderella, Pinocchio, and Bambi. In 1955, he opened Disneyland in California, turning his animated world into a real-life theme park. Throughout his career, Walt Disney won 22 Academy Awards, more than anyone in history. He died in 1966, but his legacy lives on through The Walt Disney Company, which still spreads creativity and imagination around the world.
