Nhân vật mà em ấn tượng nhất là Chí Phèo trong truyện cùng tên của Nam Cao. Chí Phèo thật sự là một nhân vật vừa đáng thương vừa hơi ghê ghê, nhưng mà lại rất khiến em nhớ. Chí Phèo ngày trước vốn là một người lương thiện, hiền lành, nhưng mà cuộc đời nó tàn nhẫn quá, đẩy Chí Phèo thành một kẻ say rượu, chửi bới, và làm mọi người sợ. Chí Phèo cứ thế mà sống trong làng, mọi người vừa sợ vừa thương, thấy Chí Phèo mà vừa buồn vừa sợ.
Điều làm em thấy Chí Phèo đặc biệt là ở cái tâm hồn mâu thuẫn của nó. Dù bề ngoài cứ hung dữ, cứ chửi bới, nhưng trong lòng Chí Phèo vẫn muốn được sống lương thiện, muốn được yêu thương. Khi Thị Nở xuất hiện, Chí Phèo như được đánh thức, muốn được trở về làm người bình thường, muốn làm lại từ đầu. Cảnh Chí Phèo gõ cửa nhà Thị Nở mà mong được làm người lương thiện thật sự làm em thấy vừa thương vừa buồn.Chí Phèo còn khiến em ấn tượng bởi cách tác giả viết rất thật luôn ấy. Mọi suy nghĩ, lời nói, hành động của Chí Phèo đều làm em tưởng như nó đang sống thật ngoài đời vậy. Em nghĩ Chí Phèo không chỉ là một kẻ đáng sợ, mà còn là hình ảnh của những người bị xã hội ép phải sống tội lỗi, nhưng trong lòng họ vẫn có khát vọng lương thiện, vẫn muốn được yêu thương. Em rất thích nhân vật Chí Phèo vì đọc xong thấy thương, thấy buồn, nhưng cũng thấy phải suy nghĩ. Nó nhắc em rằng cuộc sống có nhiều người giống Chí Phèo lắm, bị đẩy vào đường cùng, nhưng mà trong lòng vẫn muốn sống tốt, vẫn muốn được yêu thương. Nhân vật này để lại cho em nhiều cảm xúc, nhiều suy nghĩ và em chắc chắn sẽ không bao giờ quên.
