Walt Disney is one of the most influential figures of the 20th century, widely known as the father of Mickey Mouse and the founder of the Disney entertainment empire.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 5, 1901. From a young age, he showed a passion for art and drawing. He attended the Kansas City Art Institute and later the Chicago Art Institute.
Throughout his career, Walt Disney achieved countless milestones. He was a very successful film-maker who created classic animated features like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia. He was also famous for creating iconic cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. In addition, he was a pioneer in the field of theme parks, with the establishment of Disneyland in 1955.
He had one older brother, Roy Disney, and two daughters. Walt Disney died on December 15, 1966. However, his legacy continues to thrive, with The Walt Disney Studios remaining a monumental success to this day.
