WALT DISNEY – THE FATHER OF MICKEY MOUSE
Walt Disney is famous around the world for creating Mickey Mouse and bringing joy to millions through his animated films. He was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. As a child, Walt showed a strong interest in drawing and storytelling. He attended McKinley High School, where he took art classes, and later studied briefly at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.
Walt Disney was a very successful filmmaker who created beloved characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. He produced groundbreaking animated movies like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and Pinocchio. Apart from making films, he was also famous for opening Disneyland, the first-ever theme park of its kind, which became a magical place for families around the world.
Walt had four siblings and later had two daughters with his wife, Lillian. He died on December 15, 1966, but The Walt Disney Studios continue to grow, producing new films and keeping his dream of imagination and happiness alive for future generations.
