Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to enquire about the course advertised on your website. I am very interested in enrolling and would like to receive more detailed information.
First, I would like to know more about the course content and structure. Could you please tell me how long the course lasts and how many lessons are included? In addition, I wonder if the classes are held online or in person, and what the schedule is. I would also appreciate it if you could inform me about the tuition fees and any additional costs for materials or certificates.
Furthermore, it would be great if you could let me know about the entry requirements and whether there are any discounts available for students.
I look forward to receiving your reply.
Yours faithfully,
Minh
In recent years, screens have become an integral part of teenagers’ lives. While parents worry about excessive use, a strict ban is not always the best solution. I believe parents should set clear, reasonable limits on screen time while encouraging productive, educational use.
On the one hand, limiting screen time is important. Many teenagers spend so much time on social media, video streaming, or games that they have little time for homework and study. Excessive screen use can also harm health: it may damage eyesight, reduce sleep quality, and contribute to weight gain. These problems justify parental rules that prevent addiction and protect teenagers’ academic performance and wellbeing.
On the other hand, not all screen time is harmful. The quality of online activity matters more than the quantity. Teenagers can learn useful knowledge and skills through educational videos, online courses, and constructive games. Moreover, overly strict rules can widen the gap between parents and teenagers; teens may hide their activities or resent rules they consider unfair, which harms communication and trust.
In conclusion, parents should not strictly ban screens but should set balanced limits: allow time for learning and socializing online, restrict harmful or late-night use, and discuss healthy habits with their children. This combination of guidance, reasonable boundaries, and open communication will help teenagers use screens responsibly
