Nowadays, many young Vietnamese people celebrate foreign festivals such as Christmas and Halloween. In my opinion, this trend is not a bad thing as long as we still preserve our own traditions.

Firstly, celebrating international festivals helps young people learn more about different cultures around the world. It makes life more interesting and gives people chances to enjoy new activities, food, and decorations. These events also encourage creativity and community spirit, especially among students and young people.

However, we should not forget our traditional Vietnamese festivals like Tet or the Mid-Autumn Festival. They are part of our cultural identity and family values. If young people pay too much attention to foreign celebrations, they might lose interest in their own culture, which would be a pity.

In conclusion, celebrating foreign festivals such as Christmas and Halloween is acceptable and even enjoyable, but we must keep a balance. We should appreciate the beauty of other cultures while still being proud of our Vietnamese traditions.
