Topic 1:The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional holidays in Vietnam. The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated not only in Vietnam but also in some other parts of Asia. Every year, it is on 15th August of the lunar calendar, when the full moon shines at night. In Vietnam, the Mid-Autumn festival is mainly an occasion for the kids to celebrate and enjoy the best time of the year. Parents often buy star-shaped lanterns for their kids, and there are also some special events such as lantern parades and lion dances for them on this day.

Topic 2: Watching TV is one of the activities I like to do in my free time. I love watching cartoons on Sunday afternoons and sports programmes on Sunday evenings. I also watch TV when I have finish my homework. At night, I really like watching movies such as :Harry Potter, The Spiderwick Chronicles ,Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, etc . Watching TV is not the only activity that I do in my free time. My other activities is going shopping with my mother. However, when I have spare time, I spend more time watching TV than any other activities. Watching TV can help me relax and build me a huge knowledge of the world.

Subject: A dish I had recently

Hello Huyen,

How are you today? I hope you're well. Today I will tell you about a delicious dish I have eaten recently.

The dish is called "pho bo" (beef noodles soup). I ate that dish last weekend when I went to Hanoi with my family. The dish had noodles and beef in it. And I eat pho bo with some nice vegetables like spring onions, herbs,... I have tasted pho bo many times, but I believe that pho bo in Hanoi is the best! If you travel to Vietnam, you should enjoy this dish.
