I love to stay hydrated. One of my favorite drinks to help me stay hydrated is orange juice. Orange juice is both sweet and sour. It freshens me up every time I take sips of orange juice. Orange juice is orange in color so it's hard to mix it for another drink. Sometimes orange juice has orange pulps in it. I love this kind of orange juice because it seems fresh to me. These are the reasons why orange juice is one of my favorite drinks to stay hydrated.

• Bánh chưng: Stuffed sky rice cake

Chúng ta thường gọi từ này ”Chung cake”, nhưng hiện nay nó đã có tên tiếng Anh đầy đủ là “stuffed sky rice cake”. Các bạn nhớ chú ý để gọi thật chính xác nhé!

“Stuffed sky rice cake” is one the most traditional special foods for the lunar new year in Viet Nam. It is made of sky rice, pork and green bean, all ingredients are wrapped inside a special leaf which calls Lá Dong. The rice and green bean have to be soaked in water for a day. The pork is usually seasoned with pepper & salt for several hours. Banh Chung is boiled for 6 or 8 hours. Nowadays, families in villages still maintain making stuffed sky rice cake before the lunar New Year but people in the cities do not. They don’t have time to make it and usually go to shops to buy it.”

(Bánh Chưng là một trong những món ăn truyền thống đặc biết nhất trong dịp tết cổ truyền Việt Nam. Nó được làm từ gạp nếp, thịt lợn và đỗ xanh, tất cả nguyên liệu gói trong một loại lá đặc biệt tên là Lá Dong. Gạo và đỗ xanh phải được ngâm nước khoảng 1 ngày. • Bún chả: Kebab rice noodles

Keybab rice noodles is one of the most delicious dishes. Grilled pork with rice noodles heaping piles of fresh greens, and a dipping sauce. We can eat “Kebab rice noodles” with Crab Spring Rolls, which has crispy on the outside of this spring roll, then strong crab taste with black pepper flavor on the inside.

(Bún chả là một trong những món ăn ngon nhất. Chả (thịt nướng) ăn cùng với bún và rất nhiều loại rau thơm, kèm theo nước chấm. Chúng ta có thể ăn bún chả kèm với nem cua bể, thứ mà có vị giòn tan bên ngoài lớp nem cuốn và vị cua đậm đà cùng với mùi thơm của hạt tiêu ở bên trong.)

Rice flour rolls and/or pancakes is a mix dishes that is popular in Red River Delta. It sometimes stuffed with ground pork and onion. They are eaten in a variety of ways with many side dishes, including one out of a million kinds of Cha (Chả), which are Vietnamese meats spiced and flavored in a multitude of ways -often ground to a paste and cooked.

A very popular yet extremely complicated noodle dish. Also originating from Quang Nam, Mi Quang varies in its preparation and features very sharply contrasting flavors and textures in (if prepared properly) a shallowly filled bowl of broth, noodles, herbs, vegetables, and roasted rice chip.

Pho is one of the Vietnamese traditional food. The most delicious and typical brand of Pho in Vietnam is Ha Noi Pho with wonderful flavor. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef or chicken and other spices. Pho is a noodle soup; therefore, it’s better when being added with beansprout. Eating Pho with family not only reflects Vietnamese tradition but also creates cozy atmosphere. At weekends, my friends and I usually go to a cafeteria to enjoy Pho because Pho is served at many restaurants in Vietnam. There are two main kind of Pho: noodle soup with beef and sliced chicken, both of them are delicious and high nutrients. Pho is favorite food of almost Vietnamese and often served as breakfast. Moreover, Pho is popular in international market for its pleasant taste and reasonable price. Foreign tourists visit Vietnam and they really the taste of Pho here. I am very proud of it. In near future, I hope Pho will be more famous in other countries so that foreigners can enjoy this cuisine and understand about Vietnamese culture.

Phở được làm từ bánh phở, thịt bò hoặc thịt gà và những gia vị khác. Phở là một món nước, vì thế sẽ ngon hơn khi ăn cùng với giá. Ăn phở với gia đình không chỉ phản ánh truyền thống người Việt mà còn tạo nên không khí ấm cúng. Vào cuối tuần, tôi và bạn bè thường đi ra tiệm ăn phở vì phở được bán ở rất nhiều hàng quán tại VN.
