We are happy to announce that our Annual Art Day will take place (1) __________ Friday, March 15th. This event is a great chance for students to take part in drawing contests, music performances, and creative workshops.

This year's theme is “Colours of School Life.” Students should bring their own pencils, colours, and other art (2) __________. Our art teachers will also prepare extra supplies for anyone who needs them.

All students are welcome to join, but those who want (3) __________ on stage must register with Ms. Hoa in the art room. The registration is open until March 10th. We hope everyone will enjoy this (4) __________ and meaningful day.

Last Friday, our class welcomed a group of new students who came to visit the school. First, we helped them (1) __________ a short tour around the campus. They were excited to see the library, which is located on the second floor of the main building. Many books and magazines were neatly arranged on the shelves, and the visitors were surprised to see (2) __________ made by students from different classes.

After that, we guided them to the art gallery. Several colourful drawings were displayed (3) __________ the corridor walls, and teachers proudly explained how students created them. Everyone moved to the playground next, where the school was preparing for Sports Day. The visitors asked many questions (4) __________ they wanted to join future events.

At the end of the tour, teachers thanked the new students because of (5) __________ polite behaviour and gave them small gifts. It was a simple but very (6) __________ visit for all of us.

Water puppetry is a traditional Vietnamese art form that has existed for more than 1,000 years. It originated in the villages of the Red River Delta, where farmers used water from the rice fields as a stage. Today, water puppet shows are performed in theatres across Viet Nam, especially in Hanoi, which has over 200 shows each year.

The puppets are made of wood and painted in bright colours. Each puppet can weigh up to 15 kilograms, so puppeteers must be strong to control them. During a performance, the puppeteers stand behind a screen in waist-deep water and use long sticks to move the puppets. A show often lasts about 45 minutes and includes stories about dragons, farmers, and daily life.

Music is an important part of water puppetry. A small orchestra of about 8 musicians sits next to the stage and plays traditional instruments like drums and flutes. Many tourists enjoy watching water puppet shows because it is a special way to learn about Vietnamese culture and history. Even though the art form is very old, it continues to attract thousands of visitors every year.
