Hoi An is an ancient town down the Thu Bon River, on the coastal plain of Quang Nam Province, for about 30 km south of Da Nang City. Hoi An used to be known as the international market with many different names such as Lam Ap, Faifo, Hoai Pho and Hoi An is the most common one now.
What is special about Hoi An is that this little port town is in an incredible state of preservation. Researchers said that most of the buildings in Hoi An underwent restoration at the beginning of the 19th century, even if some of them might be constructed long time ago. The ancient architecture is shown most clearly in the Ancient Town that is located in Minh An Ward. It covers about 2 square kilometers and almost of all famous relics in Hoi An are gathered here. The streets are very short and narrow, having a winding, crossing as the chessboard style. The topography of the ancient town tilt gradually from north to south. The buildings in the old town are built mostly with traditional materials such as: brick, wood and no more than two floors. The trace of time is able to find not only on the architectural design of each building but also everywhere like: on the yin-yang roof tiles covered with moss and plants; the old gray mold walls; the pictures carved on a strange animal, or describing an old story… Having inherited a multi-cultural architecture which is so varied and sophisticated, Hoi An must have attracted numerous and talented workers in carpentry, ceramics, and woodcarving from China, Japan and other regions of Viet Nam.
For centuries, Hoi An had developed into a melting pot of various nationalities who came to the area, and brought along their own cultures. Accordingly, Hoi An features the co-existence of indigenous customs and habits and those imported by foreign settlers.

Human and animal lead a healthy life depends on living environment. Environment indicates things around us including nature, air, water, atmosphere and living organism. The present situation of global environment is at risk, especially in developed countries. Generally, the earth becomes hotter, pollution is increasing, lacking of available space for people. The environment is being seriously destroyed by the rapidly changing of human. For instance, a large number of factories directly give off harmful chemical, raw wastewater in to nature. Government should enforce law on protecting and preserving environment so that citizens are aware of their behavior. There are several effective ways to keep our living fresh. People can join hands to maintain a clean environment by planting more trees, not dropping litter as well as protecting nature. Beside, companies related to heavy industry should take their garbage under control. In fact, environment supplies several benefits as it brings good and material for people and habitant for wild animal. Protecting the ecosystem is not only individual’s duty, it is the key factor for developing society. Finally, natural world plays a crucial role in human life, it worth to be preserved.

Baby learns a new language by listening and repeating. This is called repetition skill. So, English Language Learner (ELL) students should prace listening to English speakers and repeating after them. If there aren't any English speakers around your area, you can listen to American-children shows. Usually, American-children shows will teach you new words and when to use them. These shows often you repetition techniques. It's always the best to have a companion to join you on any journey in life. When you have a friend to learn English with you, you two can prace English on each other. The more prace you guys get, the faster you fully acquire English. Overall, this is why repetition is one of the best ways to learn English.

Everyone has their own study habits which are suitable to their routines. Personally, I have to go to school in the morning on weekdays, therefore, I spend the afternoon doing the homework. At night, after eating dinner, I often relax for a while by surfing Facebook or Youtube, and then come back to my desk. If the homework is completed, I normally practice some extra English exercises. My mother has bought several English learning books for me. On Monday and Tuesday, I have an extra course in Mathematics, so I’m a little bit busy those days. In addition, being interested in editing videos, I usually spend my free time watching videos on Youtube about this topic and practicing it myself.
English is an international language.It is very popular in the world.Therefore,I like to learn English very much.There are many reasons for learning English but I have three main reasons for it:find a good job,communicate with foreigners and especially catch up with the age. Firstly,we learn English to find a good job easily after graduation from college. I think it is right. If we want to work in foreign companies with high salary,first of all we have to know to use English.We have to write CV in English and speak English to employer in an interview that required.And I am sure that if we are good at English and a little experience in work we get,we will have a good job with high salary that we always want.Secondly,communicating in English with foreigners is very useful.Actually,we have many opportunities to learn and understand clearly about differences between British and American English.Moreover,they will correct us when we make mistakes in using words in English.That helps us improve English very much. Thirdly,we are living in the area of information technology.Therefore,we have to use personal computer in our work.And if we know English,we can read English News to know what happening in the world,listen to our favourite English songs or play games in free time.And it is very useful for us to relax after hard working days.Learning English brings us many opportunities to catch up the age.We can broaden knowledge and study many things from it.We can know about cultures,manners and customs from many countries in the world. Among many subjects student learns in school, I like math the most. This is one of the compulsory subjects from primary to high school ad even university. Math teaches learner about numbers and operation. Being good at math brings us several advantages. Doing math exercise improves one’s brain and its brainstorm. Moreover, people learning math can think more logically and make up one mind. There are many subjects we can apply mathematics to solve the problem: economics, engineering and even business. Math is said to originate from ancient Greece and develop completely as today. In VN it’s an increasing number of mathematical genius such as Ngo Bao Chau. Therefore, Vietnamese are very proud of it. In my opinion, every student should be good at math or at least learn it. Since human gain lots of achievement related to math, specifically in modern society.

So, History is the long story, we learn many interesting things.

I can use english books and magazines. Sometimes I like to download e-books and magazines in pdf. It is effectively way to study English in home. Using English I can communicate with many peoples. I can use Skype and ICQ to talk and chat and get new contacts. I can use many applications and play games. I have used Windows XP and Office for two months and it was quite easy. Most of movies are in English. I like to watch them without subtitles. If I can I always switch the polish dubbing off ? I hate it.
The last advantage to know English is I can talk with all people talking English. This holidays when I was in Gdańsk somebody asked all people: ?Do you speak English?? Everybody talked ?No? and ?Nie wiem o co chodzi.?. When she came to me and asked the question ?Do you speak English?? I could say ?Yes, how can I help you?? She told ?How can I get to the bus station?? I told ?Can you see this building? The station is behind it. Please go this way?. She smiled to me and walked away. I was happy that I could help.
As you can see English is useful in life. All of us study it in everyday situations and activities. The language is quite simple and logic. I use it all the time. This is why I like English and it is my favourite subject in school

My favorite subject in school is Mathematics. It is my favorite because I never have difficulty with it and always get good marks in tests.
I suppose I am lucky to be born with a clear-thinking brain. So ever since young, manipulating numbers and figures came easy to me.
The wonderful thing about Mathematics is that, besides some formulae, there is nothing else to remember. Every step in solving a problem is done logically. Other subjects like History and Geography require a lot of memory work. Remembering dates and other facts is hard work compared with the ease and simplicity of mathematical reasoning.
While Mathematics is simple to me, some of my friends have great difficulty with it. I do not really understand why. They get stuck with simple problems and often give up. So I help them out when I can.
The one advantage I have in being good in Mathematics is that I do not have to spend a lot of time on it. Homework and tests are a breeze. So I have plenty of time left over to study other subjects. Sometimes I feel sorry for my less fortunate classmates who get scolded in class for not completing their Mathematics homework.
Anyhow I have come to realize that human beings can be so different in their abilities while they look similar otherwise. Some of us are lucky to be good in some things. Others may not be so lucky.

When I was in High school, my favorite subject was the Korean Literature. Most friends of mine used to fall asleep in the class because they felt the subject was boring and old-fashioned. However, my eyes were widened and I felt excited as the Literature class has started. I thought the subject was leading me to the new world that I had never experienced before in my life.
Through the reading of variety genre of the Literature, I could feel my ancestor's life and culture in the specific era. Especially in old poem, I noticed their values such as loyalty to the nation, religious attitudes influenced by shamanism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Moreover, people started to write an essay which is more narrative and descriptive based on their usual life. Through the reading, I could feel their sorrow, happiness and depicted love of nature and man. For me, it was fascinated to find out someone's feeling through out the short piece of the Literature.
As well as reading and analyzing others' masterpieces, my teacher, Mrs. Lee asked us to create some of the writing based on the characters of the Literature that we learned in the class. Sometime, I pretended to be a soldier who was filled with loyalty towards the Kingdom and described my emotions in the short poem. In addition, she made us to write a love letter to the main characters in the Literature. At the first time, students including me complained to the teacher because we were not familiar with the work. However, through the writing processing, I learned and practiced how to imagine other people's status and emotions.
Reading and writing process in the Korean Literature subject was one of my communication way to the world and history. I could access to various styles of Literature in different ages from old times to the modern ages. It always refreshed my thoughts and feelings during the school years.

Of all the subjects taught in school, I like Geography best. It is the only subject which teaches me everything I need to know about the world we live in, for example, vegetation, way of life of people, climate, agriculture and economy.
I learn about the countries around Malaysia and in other parts of the world and, since I cannot visit and see for myself every country in the world, I get at least a good picture of these countries by studying Geography. I am very interested in finding out more about other countries especially those that experience snow when winter comes. I often wonder about the life of the people in these countries. What would it be like to be dressed in thick clothes and boots and living in snow-covered houses amidst fir trees? Then, there are the hot desert lands that stretch for miles and miles without a tree in sight. They, too, fascinate me. I marvel at the inhabitants who are able to tolerate the intense heat of the burning sun, traveling along miles of barren, hot land on camels where the only vegetation found would be the few palm trees growing at an oasis. The wide range of food which we enjoy daily such as butter, cheese, fruits, bread that comes from wheat and many others lead me on to find out how they are processed and imported into Malaysia and finally make their appearance in our homes.
As I study more in Geography, I understand better the changes in weather conditions, for example, why there are hot and dry seasons or cool rainy days during the monsoon season and how deserts are caused.
