My favorite season is Summer. I love it mostly because of the warm weather and the school vacation. I enjoy the warmth of summer as it is suitable for outdoor activities. You don’t have to wear too many clothes just in order to feel the air outside like in Winter. The most interesting part about summer for me is that I have 2 months off school. I don’t have to worry about school curfew or homework. I just love to spend my summer relaxing with friends and family

When it comes to my favorite season, I will answer without any hesitation. It is winter which is the coldest season of a year. It would be more fascinating if I traveled to European countries during this time of year because hardly ever have I seen snow in my country. Watching the snowfall from a huge window and sipping a hot cup of coffee are what I have been longing for. To be honest, I was born in December so I find myself interested in listening to Chrismast songs and usually picture how beautiful it is in when these wintry months come. There are many festivals during the winter but people in my country mostly celebrate Chrismast. If my memory servers me right, there was a time when I and my family paid a visit to Sa Pa in the winter . This town is located in a mountainous region and widely known as the most wonderful snowfall scene in Viet Nam. The cold weather sending chills down the spine and snowflakes falling from the sky seemed to offer me a great sense of satisfaction that I would never forget for the rest of my life. As far as I am concerned, Winter is the right time for us to dress ourselves some stylish clothes such as orvercoats or cardigans. Besides, it is quite captivating to participate in some activities held on Chrismast day and have a barbecue with your family or friends at night. All in all, winter is definitely the most awaited season for me.

I live in the countryside so my fashion is very simple. I only like my shorts and T-shirt when I'm at school and at school I wear school uniforms when I go to class. I think the pants will help me to shield the sun and wear is also cool. T-shirts help me feel comfortable wearing. School uniforms make me feel good and fit my age.

My favourite thing about the dress is that it has lots of pockets so it's really convenient to wear around and about because it means sometimes I don't even need to take a bag with me. I also get lots of compliments from my friends whenever I wear it, which is always a good confidence boost. What's funny is that this fashion trend is very similar to what people wore back in the 1990s, in fact I've even found some old photographs of myself from when I was little wearing a similar dress. It's amazing how trends come back into style and we start wearing things that were fashionable 20 years ago. I really hope this is a fashion trend that's here to stay as I love wearing my dress so much!

I love looking smart, but casual. I to dress according to my mood, in the winter months, I mostly wear darker clothes, but in the summer, I clothes that are a bit brighter. I never really wear skirts, I prefer trousers but I love dresses! I never wear heels as I can't walk in them, I love my flats, boots and trainers!
I wear a bit of makeup most days, it only takes me a minute to achieve my makeup look! I mostly wear my hair down, as I look horrible with my hair up! I am very different in terms of clothing to the rest of my friends, but that is what makes me individual. I love searching for vintage items, one-of-a-kind pieces. I am a sucker for a bargain, I love the christmas sales! I don't wear much jewellery, never wear rings, but I wearing bracelets and necklaces!
My favourite items in my wardrobe at the moment has to be my lovely black patterned dress with bows that was reduced to £18 and my cuddly cream knit cardigan.
You can quickly convey a number of things about your characters based on the clothing they wear. You can also confound or prove untrue impressions your characters (or readers) form based on appearances.
For example, think about a wealthy person and how that person might dress. You may have imagined a man in an expensive suit or a woman in designer clothes. You can immediately show a character is wealthy with descriptions of fine clothing. However, you can tell your reader interesting things through a mismatch:
A wealthy character might dress ostentatiously in expensive clothing. But they could also dress in modest, inexpensive-looking clothes.
What would you think about a wealthy character who looked as though he shopped at thrift stores? Or one who was forever wearing poorly-fitted clothing that appeared to be handed down from friends? These detail could suggest that your character is miserly or down-to-earth despite their wealth. Dr. Urbino in Marquez’s example above fits the latter category.
Think of other interesting combinations: A teacher who dresses provocatively; a beggar with an incredible, fashionable style of dress: What backstory or character motivations could these combinations of position and appearance suggest?

esterday, I went to my classmate’s birthday party, and the way my other classmates dressed was impressive. Most of the time we just see each other in school uniform and casual clothes, so everyone looked different when they were well-dressed. Lan - the owner of the party wore a long white dress with soft fabric and decorative flowers, it made Lan look a little princess. When she moved, the long ribbon on the back of the dress swung swiftly a strip of cloud. My best friend Trinh chose to wear a pink sporty skirt with a black T-shirt, and she looked so active in that outfit. Along with the clothes, Trinh put on a pair of white sneakers and colorful bracelets. Our monitor was the one that brought the biggest surprise. She always wears simple jeans and T-shirt on casual days, but yesterday she impressed us with her tight and sleeveless dress. The elas fabric with long stripes made her look thinner and higher, and the beautiful decorated collar could successfully replace the necklace. All of them were so pretty and fashionable, maybe I should ask for some advices so I can have a better look.
Think of your characters’ clothing an actor’s costume in a play. The costume is a large part of the character. As soon as the actor enters stage right or left, we have an inkling of whether they’re a wealthy landowner or peasant, an elegant heiress or down-to-earth flower-seller.
In Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s Love in the Time of Cholera (1985), a character’s widespread respect is shown, curiously, by the fact that he is one of the only attendees at an event who is not smartly dressed:
‘Although it was not customary for invitations to request special attire, least of all for a luncheon in the country, the women wore evening gowns and precious jewels and most of the men were dressed in dinner jackets with black ties, and some even wore frock coats. Only the most sophisated, Dr. Urbino among them, wore their ordinary clothes.’ (p. 35)
What the description shows is that many of the invitees play at status and refinement through fancy dress. Yet Dr. Urbino’s status as a respected doctor is earned – he has nothing to prove by dressing smarter. Thus his plain dress is, ironically, a sign of his greater status.
Marquez, you can compare and contrast character’s clothes to reveal important details about their social status or position.
