3. Last summer vacation

Last summer, my family and I went to Vung Tau. We had great time together with the joy of swimming, lying in the beach and got a lot of nice souvenir.
That was my vacation on July. The weather was so hot. My father decided to go to Vung Tau beach. We bought 5 train-tickets and went on the trip excited. That night I couldn't sleep well. I just thought about the interests. We arrived at 9 am. Then mom rent a room at Vung Tau hotel. We unlocked our handbag and quickly went to the beach. Dad brang us a kite to fly it. We swam a lot, to 11 am.
At lunch time, we ate sushi and bacon. The food were delicious so my brother wanted to eat more and more. We took nap for about 3 hour, then woke up to meet some friends. Unfortunately, when we arrived at my father friend's house, he wasn't at home that time. Some neighbor told us that he came to the Mineral spring center to relax.
So we decided to go there by taxi. The cost wasn't expensive, just 30 Vietnam dong to pay. When we arrived, my father's friend was taking hot bath. He told us to buy swim ticket. Then we stay there to swime until 6 o' clock.
At night, we went sight-seeing with some tourist. We saw beautiful natural landscapes and ate ice-cream. How yummy was that, we felt pleasant.
The next day, we went to the amusement park to try some new games. There were a lot of thrills that made me scared. Then we turned back to Ho Chi Minh city at 6 o' clock.
That was my latest and the most excellent trip of mine.

Everyone has their closed friends to share happiness and sadness. So am I. My closest friend is Dung. He is quite a intelligence boy, ease-going,and especially homourous.Thanks to his nice appearance, he has bring a lot of fun to everyone around him not except me. Besides, Dung is also a optimistic boy, he always smile on his face even in most difficult situations. Morever,he learns very well, he is usually on the top of my school, he has now helped many weak friends to be better in their learning. Not only does Dung a excellent student,but he also is a good son in the family. Dung often help his family with housechores and even earn more money by doing half time of jobs. Although he is busy all time,he try to spend as much time as possible sharing happy or sad things with me. As for me,I really happy to be friend with such a wonderful person like Dung. I hope our friendship will be forever.

1. Closed friend

Everyone of us has at least one closed friend. Me too, my closed friend is a friend who studied in primary school with me.
His name is Huy, he is not only handsome but also smart. Specially, he has a graceful smile. I am sure that every girl can also fall in love by that smile.
We studied in primary school together. We went to school together everyday. May be, we are together on every activities. Even that we skipped class to play badminton, play blind man bluff's together. Although we played game very much, but we was still study very well, because we helped each other in study and never forget to do exercise at school.
We get along very well. He understands me and me too. We have a lot of the same characters. May be those thing made some misunderstanding between him and me. But all things had solved.
Now, we are studying at Hai Lang Town Secondary School, and often get in touch together. Indeed, I enjoy him very much.

2. My school

I started my elementary school since seven year old.

My school was just located near my home, so every day I walked to school with myself, or sometimes with my neighbours.

My school is called the Hai Lang Town Primary School, which was established 30 years ago in my hometown. The school was quite spacious as it was large but there were no many students. Besides, the teachers there were always kind-hearted and responsible for their teaching.

Yes, it’s very memorable days of life cos it’s part of my life I got basic education from my school, besides, I didn’t have the stressful study burden at that period, so most of time I played with my classmates a lot. Therefore, it’s a golden period of my life and school days never come back.

There are several engaging activities in my school, such as sports meeting when the whole school played sports together. There were some exciting competitions like 100 metres dash, or marathon. Besides, we went autumn outing every year to some local natural sceneries. We didn’t have class and could enjoy the happy time with our classmates there.

Yes, every time I go back to my hometown, I’d like to visit my old school and I’ll be very delighted to see how my school developed. I was really proud of it.

Yes, there were several close friends when I was in my elementary school, and we still keep in touch with each other. We cherish our friendship after we have grown up.

There were many subjects we had to learn at secondary school, such as maths, English, physics, chemistry, history, geography, and so on. So you can see we had a heavy burden at that time.

In my secondary school, English was my favourite subject because I found it very easy to remember the new word, and the sentences I learned were not hard at all. Besides, thanks to my English teacher, he taught me and corrected my pronunciation so that I could speak quite influent English.

As my unfavourable subject, I guess the politics was the most disgusting subject because I had to remember endless and meaningless essays in order to pass the exams by rote. It was really a waste of my time.

I believe that the physics was quite helpful in my adult life. Though it wasn’t really needed in daily life of mine, just as my physical teacher said, the physics was the gymnastics for the brain, it helped me do things logically.

I believe that my secondary school had taught how to endure hardships if I wanted to achieve my goal. You know, in my country, the competition of entering university is badly fierce, so I had to work very hard in order to be eligible to pursue my education in the future.

I guess my secondary school has a rich history and provides a safe, supportive learning community where all students are challenged to reach their highest levels of achievement and grow as individuals.

I chose to attend my school because it was the most famous school in my hometown. It has gone through so long history that many scientists and politics graduated from it. And I believe I could be qualified to get to university after years of studying there.

3.In our country, summer holiday is the longest holiday in a year. I often went to sea with my family and my relatives every summer holidays. But last summer, my parents allowed me go to sea with my friends. I had many memories with my friends and it made impression on me.
The trip had seven people; four boys and three girls. We learnt primary school together. So far we have been close friends. We spent three days on holiday. On holiday, we only slept four hours a day and the rest time we went swimming, went sightseeing
At the morning, we got up at half past four o’clock to see sunrise. It was very peaceful and calm in early morning. After that we went swimming. In the evening, we went along seaside. At that time the wave seemed gentler than it was in the afternoon. The later it was, the more people the beach had. Everybody looked happy. We took many photographs and had a lots of sea foods. All of us were indeed happy.
At the last day, there was a small problem with me. I had stomachache. Maybe I was not suitable with sea foods. Fortunately I bought medicine, so I took a medicine and I was ok.
After three days, we came back home. I think it was great time in my life.
