My favourite leisure activity is reading. The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ

Mùa Tết xảy ra xung quanh biginning tháng Hai và kết thúc của Janaurỵ Ý nghĩa của Tết là kết thúc năm cũ và chào đón một năm mới. Tết là rất đặc biệt đối với các gia đình Việt để đoàn tụ. Tại thời điểm đó, tất cả các thành viên gia đình cố gắng trở lại ngôi nhà của mình và nhận được với nhau để chuẩn bị cho Tết. Hơn nữa họ sẽ mua quần áo mới và dọn dẹp nhà cửa của họ. In the world, there are many countries but I love Australia the best. Australia is located in southern hemisphere between the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. This is the smallest continent in the world, 6th largest city with the area of 7,686, 850 sq km(slightly smaller than the contigous 48 US State). The population of the country is 21 million (July 2008 estimate) and the capital is Canberra. Australia is a beautiful country with the climate is generally arid to semiarid. The common languages here are English and native language. Australians are very kind and friendly. They loves sport including rugby, football, golf, swimming and cricket. If you want to choose some places for you holiday, Autralia will be an ideal places with a lot of destinations such as Sydney Opera House, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Melbourne,...You also can try delicious traditional food like Barbecued shrimp, steak, dim sun, potato cakes, fifh and chip,..The country is really a attractive place to visit.
My country has a lot of custom such as: wearing “Ao dai”, reuniting family in Mid-autumn festival, making “Banh Chung” on Tet holiday,etc . However, the custom I would like people from other countries to adopt is cleaning and decorating the ancestral graves. There are two reasons why I want to choose it.
First of all, grave-visiting festival is on the fifth of January in lunar calendar It’s the time for people to visit their ancestor’s graves. While old members burn incense and clean the graves, children talk together and play some games. This action helps them to pay their ancestor the honour and show their respect to someone who passed away .
Secondly, in this special occasion, members in family can reunite and take care of each other. Family members make “banh troi”, “banh chay” to worship the ancestors. After that they eat together. Therefore, this custom makes family’s atmosphere warmer and warmer.
In short, I would like people from other countries to adopt this special custom because it’s really meaningful. It helps young generation to dedicate to their ancestors and keeps family spirit warm. Therefore, other country should adopt this custom.

Like a paradise, my room is the only place where I feel free, warm and comfotable for relaxing after a tiring day at school.
My room has simple design and everything looks neat and clear. It's a beautiful room because it is decorated by myself. I use bright color for the wall and blue ties to inspire an intimate feeling to the space. Besides, my room looks warm and airy with two huge windows on the two sides of the room , and some lamps on the walls . I like the computer in my room most because it helps me a lot for my study.

Badminton is my favourite sport. It is the fastest racket game in the world. It is played with rackets and a shuttlecock. The shuttlecock is made from goose feathers pushed into a small piece of cork. Badminton rackets are very light. They normally weigh from 90 grams to about 110 grams. The smash of the shuttlecock can travel up to 260km per hour.
There are six main shots: the serve, the clear, the drop, the smash, the forehand drive and the backhand drive. The court on which badminton is played is in the shape of a rectangle and is divided in half by a net. When there are only two players, one on each side of the net, it is a singles game. Badminton takes its name from the home of the Duke of Beaufort, Badminton House in Gloucestershire, England where the first game of badminton was played.
I love badminton because it is good exercise and a lot of my friends play. I play a lots of competitions with my friend Luong Minh. My brother Thanh also plays. He and eight others played in the Hoi Khoe Phu Dong final. They came second place.

I love to take part in outdoor sports and football is my favourite one. In fact, it helps me to get entertained and at the same time, I remain healthy. I would like to thank you for the opportunity to let me talk about my favourite sports.
Football is a popular form of sport. Besides, this is a great way to develop a good health and mental stability. When the players take part in the sport, they are to run after the ball for a certain period of time. Thus, the have their physical exercise and by the same time enjoy the game. It also helps to increase focus on any issues and the most important issue is that it builds the capacity to play in a team. Actually, without a teamwork, it is not possible to win a football match. Further, a football game is also a great source of entertainment to the spectators. They also derive much pleasure in watching the games.
Before joining the college, I had plenty of leisure hours to spend with football. But now due to my academic pressure, I hardly can manage times for practising and participating in matches. Now I play once or twice in a week based on my leisure. I used to join the practice matches every day in the local club. But now I am unable to practice once in a week. If there are any matches available, I practice on that day only. As a result, my performance is decreasing gradually. But if I get a chance, I usually do not miss the football matches on television. Most of the times the matches are held at night (as this is limited time game), I watch them before going to bed. This is the most impressive sport I have ever experienced, I think.
Playing football is easy. It requires two teams of players and each of the team will consist of 11 players. Besides, there are some specific positions in the team. Not everyone is allowed to play with the ball always. The team division helps to decide priority with the ball. Some of the players are to attack with the ball while there are some other players to prevent the attack from the opposition attackers. Besides, there are two goalkeepers who try to prevent the football to enter into the net. The game runs for 90 minutes and there is a break after 45 minutes. All the players take the break to energise themselves. The team which can score more goals becomes the winner.
This is my favourite sport for some reasons. First of all, it is able to remove tiredness from the body and helps to concentrate on a specific issue. Besides, the football players are able to endure a huge amount of physical labour. They are to run for over one hour and thus they become flexible with physical labour. Further, I like the sport as this is a great one that helps to reduce stress. On the other side, it improves the cardiovascular functions and bone strengths. If someone wants to reduce body fat, this is a great source for them. Continuous running helps to burn unwanted fat from the body. Another important aspect of the sport is it helps to enhance the confidence level. This game requires fewer costs. Considering all the issues, I like this game very much.
