Nhận xét: đây là một câu phân loại khó vì nhiều từ mới, học sinh mới đầu nhìn sẽ bị loạn bởi cả từ vựng và ngữ pháp. Phân tích về mặt ngữ pháp ta thấy đấy là một câu đơn nhưng lại có đến 3 động từ: appear, is, call. Ta đi phân tịch cấu trúc SVO của câu: Trong câu động từ is không bị gạch chân tức là is là được chia đúng, và chủ ngữ trong của động từ là “The attribution (A) of human characteristics to animals or inanimate objects” , ta lại thấy động từ appear cũng lại được chia theo chủ ngữ “The attribution (A) of human characteristics to animals or inanimate objects” nên là sai vì trong câu chỉ có thể có 1 động từ chính là “is”. Còn động từ called không sai vì đó là dạng rút gọn của mệnh đề quan hệ “which is called” bổ sung ý nghĩa cho danh từ đứng trước nó literacy device.
