Và khi đó chúng ta sẽ tạo ra 1 lượng lớn khí thải độc hại ảnh hưởng đến môi trường và con người. Ngoài ra chung ta còn ứt bao ni lông xuống cống thoát nước, việc nay sẽ gây tắc nghẽn ống thoát nước, vứt xuống biển sẽ làm chết những con cá nuốt phải nó. Rồi nó còn làm mất mỹ quan của đô thị, của thành phố. Chúng ta cần có một số biện pháp nhằm khắc phục việc sử dụng bao bì ni lông như: Coi túi ni-lông là một sản phẩm huỷ hoại môi trường nghiêm trọng cần quản lý nghiêm ngặt. Nghiên cứu sản xuất các loại bao bì khác, vừa tiện lợi, dễ phân huỷ, vừa có có giá cả hợp lý. Tuyên truyền sâu rộng trong cộng đồng xã hội về tác hại của túi ni-lông. Vận động cộng đồng xã hội hạn chế sử dụng túi ni-lông, bảo vệ môi trường. Hạn chế và kiểm soát tác hại của rác thải túi ni-lông không dễ, nhưng với sự cương quyết của các cơ quan quản lý nhà nước và sự đồng lòng của người dân trong việc thực hiện 5 đề xuất nêu trên, môi trường Việt Nam sớm sẽ không còn bị huỷ hoại bởi rác thải túi ni-lông.

Vì vậy, khi sử dụng các túi đựng nhất là gói thực phẩm, các bạn hãy dùng các vật liệu thay thế như giấy, lá.
