Mr. Ratana, a cooking teacher, says, “That makes them crispy outside and soft inside.” He also says that the body of the tarantula tastes the best. “The legs are not so good,” he says. Many people say that cooked spiders are pretty tasty, similar to the taste of crab.

They prepare scrambled eggs, cold meats and sliced tomatoes and many different types of cheese for the breakfast table. They even have a soup made from milk. These days people can also have some yogurt or cereal. Strong coffee or a pot of tea is always available.
