IV. Câu hỏi trong lời nói gián tiếp
1. Quy tắc chuyển đổi
- Giống câu trần thuật.
- Động từ tường thuật thường là asked / wanted to know.
- Trật tự từ: Chuyển về dạng câu trần thuật (S + V).
- Bỏ that và ?.
2. Cấu trúc

Lưu ý:
Khi lời nói trực tiếp là câu hỏi chủ ngữ, thì trật tự câu không đổi.
Ví dụ: “Who broke the vase?”, he asked me.
à He asked me who had broken the vase.
